A United States federal district court has decided to allow a lawsuit alleging that Ripple’s XRP crypto asset is an unregistered security. Court documents filed on Feb. 26 reveal that Judge Phyllis Hamilton of the Court of the Northern District of California ruled to only partially grant Ripple’s motion to dismiss the lawsuit against it.
