Swiss-registered logistics giant CEVA Logistics has announced its participation in IBM and Maersk’s new joint blockchain platform TradeLens in a press release August 10. Maersk, IBM Launch Blockchain Shipping Supply Chain Platform
IBM and Danish transport and logistics giant Maersk have launched their global blockchain-enabled shipping solution, according to an official press release today, August 9. The new jointly developed blockchain solution revealed 94 organizations involved and 154 million shipping events already captured. The global supply chain platform has been dubbed ‘TradeLens,’ and its dataset is reportedly growing at a rate of close to one million shipping events a day. FX Settlement Provider CLS Begins Final Testing for Blockchain Payment Banking Service
Forex exchange (FX) settlement giant CLS is in the final stages of testing its blockchain payment service for banks, Financial News reported July 27. The service is reportedly set to be launched later this summer, with at least seven banks expected to sign on to the system in the early months. IBM Backs New US Dollar-Pegged Stablecoin That Runs on Stellar Network
A new project for a U.S. dollar-pegged stablecoin that runs on the Stellar blockchain network has received backing from IBM, Reuters reports July 17.
