Sub $30K Bitcoin price sell-off would require panic ‘to a large degree’
Order books, essentially the list of orders that a trading outlet implements to show the interest of buyers and sellers, show considerable buyer interest in the $30,000 region on large exchanges Coinbase and Binance. There is 5,000 Bitcoin sat ready to purchase down to a $30,000 price, and another 7,000 BTC down to a $28,000 price on Binance. The sell-off may not be over, but Bitcoin (BTC) buyers can take solace in the knowledge that order books in the $28,500 to $30,000 region are dense. Consequently, the price plunge due to Russia’s military operations may take a breather. Binance is …

Even in a choppy crypto market, this algorithmic indicator helped traders identify the few winners
Just as it started to look like the crypto market was staging a comeback and bracing for a new bull run, geopolitical tensions stepped in to drive the price of Bitcoin (BTC) below $40,000 again, with most altcoins seeing deep red as well. Such periods of market uncertainty, however, are not unprecedented, and digital assets’ individual history already holds information on the way their prices previously behaved under similar macro conditions. Last week was not rich with impressive altcoin rallies, as the crypto market seesawed along with the twists and turns of the news cycle. Still, several assets that recorded …

DEX super aggregator unites DApps across multiple chains
With blockchain networks and their relevant decentralized applications (DApps) growing at a rapid pace, there comes the question of interoperability. If a user on Ethereum (ETH) wants to use a DApp on the Binance Smart Chain (BSC), there’s no fast, cheap way to do so. Instead, the process is expensive, time-consuming, and inaccessible to new cryptocurrencies. Considering the blockchain space is meant to be one that’s open and accessible to all, its current lack of interoperability is a massive barrier standing in the way of widespread adoption. Fortunately, there are crypto projects that recognize the importance of cross-chain interaction and …

Ethereum to $10K? Classic bullish reversal pattern hints at potential ETH price rally
Ethereum's native token Ether (ETH) could reach above $10,000 in the coming weeks as it paints what appears to be an "ascending triangle" technical pattern. Ethereum price technicals: bullish signs Ascending triangles are bullish continuation setups that appear during an uptrend. Analysts confirm their presence after the price rises upward inside a rising right-angle triangle structure, thus forming a sequence of lower highs on the lower trendline with resistance in place at the upper one. As the pattern develops, volumes typically drop. So far, Ether has been forming a similar upside pattern on its weekly chart. In detail, the triangle's …

How are Afghans using crypto under the Taliban government?
After the Taliban took full control of Afghanistan in August last year, many international non-governmental organizations and services stopped operating in the country. Among them were payment services like Western Union and Swift. Many Afghans subsequently began to learn about cryptocurrencies and the underlying blockchain technology to — at the very least — receive remittances from abroad. As electronic payment services like PayPal and Venmo have never been available in the 5,000-year-old country, Afghans have lost many opportunities in the online business world. “We lost many opportunities like blogging, affiliate marketing and online dropshipping because most of them pay with …

Fidelity analyst: Bitcoin price up-down debate 'mostly noise,' watch network's Apple-esque growth
Bitcoin (BTC) continued its decline further into the week as BTC clung to the $40,000 support level on Feb. 18. BTC price up-down debate "mostly noise" While many analysts anticipated BTC's price to fall towards $30,000 next, mostly based on technicals, Jurrien Timmer of Fidelity Investments lambasted the downside bias, calling it "mostly noise." Bitcoin has been in a choppy trading range for almost a year now, bouncing between 30k and 65k. The up-or-down debate continues to be a favorite hobby for many, but it’s mostly noise. For Bitcoin, the network is what matters. Let's dig deeper. pic.twitter.com/ipWumuRSya — Jurrien …

The announcement came during the parliamentary budget session for 2022, and the government has already set April 1 as a deadline for crypto exchanges to comply with the new tax regulations. The introduction of the crypto tax was widely misreported as a form of legal …
