Crypto wallet firm Ledger integrates tax solution to simplify reporting
Major cryptocurrency hardware wallet provider Ledger is moving to help crypto investors keep track of their taxes by integrating a new crypto tax-related solution. Ledger has partnered with cryptocurrency tax software ZenLedger to integrate its crypto tax reporting solution into Ledger’s interface application, Ledger Live, the firm announced to Cointelegraph on Thursday. Indonesia to impose 0.1% crypto tax starting in May: Report
The Indonesian government is reportedly planning to charge a 0.1% capital gains tax on crypto investments as well as a value-added tax, or VAT, on digital asset transactions starting from May 1. 30% crypto tax becomes law in India following Finance Bill approval
The Indian Finance Bill 2022 with new 30% crypto tax rules was approved by the Rajya Sabha, the upper house of the Indian parliament, to make it a law today that will come into effect starting on April 1. The approval of the bill by the upper house of the parliament comes within a week of the lower house (Lok Sabha) approval. Crypto donation startup launches IRS form as US tax season loom
Engiven, an enterprise cryptocurrency donation platform, is working to simplify tax reporting for cryptocurrency donors and nonprofits by launching a tax form and appraisal service for crypto donations. The Engiven platform now allows nonprofits and donors to automatically generate the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) tax form, the firm announced Tuesday. Crypto tax rules will reduce US budget deficit by $11B over ten years — White House
The United States government’s budget for the 2023 fiscal year included roughly $11 billion in revenue over the next decade from modernizing rules around digital assets.
