CoinGecko reveals the US state most interested in Bitcoin and Ethereum
The Golden State of California may be America's most inquisitive state about Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH), new data from CoinGecko has revealed. In a report shared by CoinGecko, internet users from California accounted for a whopping 43% of all Bitcoin and Ethereum web traffic searches on the crypto tracking website. Independent Tether attestation reveals 58% decrease in commercial paper holdings
An announcement from USDT issuer Tether Holdings Limited revealed information from an independent attestation against the company’s previous quarter's performance. The reviewer, top accounting firm BDO Italia, assessed Tether’s assets as of June 30, 2022. Tether previously announced a commitment to decreasing its commercial paper holdings by the end of August 2022. Despite the decentralized finance (DeFi) market suffering a 74.6% market cap decline in Q2, user activity has remained relatively resilient, says CoinGecko. What bear market? Consumer confidence higher among crypto owners than normies
Consumer confidence is considerably higher among crypto owners than the average American adult, with crypto owners sitting 16.4 points higher on the consumer sentiment index. A Thursday report from research firm Morning Consult shows that although average United States adult consumer sentiment has dropped 13.5% since mid-January, confidence among crypto owners has held up relatively better, falling only 8.1% over the same period. Banking uses 56 times more energy than Bitcoin: Valuechain report
