Exclusive: Liquid Network Gets Its First General-Purpose Javascript Library
Blockstream’s Liquid Network is now featuring its own Javascript library for developers to easily interact with the blockchain. Named LiquidJS, it was developed and announced by pTokens, an interoperability project working to bring assets cross-chain. The open-source library simplifies access to the Liquid Network for external applications, with no requirements of setting up dedicated nodes. Updated: MetaMask Contributor Says Project Lacks Support From ConsenSys
A contributor of major Ethereum browser extension Metamask has reported that the MetaMask team is “totally overwhelmed” and not being prioritized by its parent company ConsenSys. In a Dec. 25 Reddit post, Reddit user lazaridiscom3 alleges that the MetaMask team is not getting the support it needs from ConsenSys, and, consequently, the whole team of 24 employees is overwhelmed. Crypto Exchange Gate.io Removes StatCounter Service Following Report of Security Breach
Crypto exchange Gate.io has removed web analytics tool StatCounter from their website following a breach report by cybersecurity firm ESET, according to an official blog post published today, Nov. 7. The company has reported that they immediately removed StatCounter's traffic stats service after receiving a security notice by ESET about suspicious behavior.
