German luxury car manufacturer Porsche's nonfungible token (NFT) collection reached 2,839 Ether (ETH) ($4.5 million) in total sales volume, according to data from NFTScan at the time of writing on Jan. 26. The collection had a floor price of 2.74 ETH and a high price of 9.18 ETH, with over 1,705 total sales. Tether moves to combat child abuse content marketplaces
Tether aims to increase visibility and mitigate controls of cryptocurrency payments used in child abuse content marketplaces through a collaboration with INHOPE. The stablecoin operator will work with INHOPE, a global network combating online child sexual abuse material (CSAM), to share information, collaborate with stakeholders and enforce actions on bad actors from the cryptocurrency ecosystem. NFT collector sues OpenSea for locking account after being scammed
A nonfungible token (NFT) collector is taking legal action against the OpenSea NFT marketplace for several allegations, including being locked out of his account for more than three months after being a victim of a phishing scam. Breaking: Coinbase fined in the Netherlands for $3.6M
De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB), the Dutch central Bank, fined cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase for 3.3 million euros, or around $3.6 million, due to non-compliance with local regulations for financial service providers, according to a Reuters report on Jan 26. Mango Markets sues Avraham Eisenberg for $47M in damages plus interest
Mango Labs, the company behind the decentralized finance (DeFi) protocol Mango Markets has come out with its own lawsuit against exploiter Avraham Eisenberg.
