The latest Cointelegraph AMA will feature Emeldi Group CEO Dusan Bystriansky, CEO and founder Mark Bystriansky, and chief business officer and co-founder Igor Zavadovsky on Jan. 23, 2023 at 2:00 pm UTC with the inside scoop about EMG’s upcoming plans and releases.

A super-app as the future of telecom services

Telecom service providers face a significant challenge in balancing costs with the ability to reach underprivileged populations in certain countries. Providing communication services to these areas is crucial yet difficult to accomplish.

While the task at hand might be challenging, Emeldi is working on an innovative approach that taps into the potential of decentralized technology. The EMG super-app is designed to bring users a portfolio of communication services via a single mobile platform. From car hires and taxi services to mobile data, the super app combines the most utilized telecommunications products in one place.

Moreover, the EMG solution aims to significantly improve the registration process for new users. Traditionally, telecom companies require a lot of identification documents and a physical presence for a contract to be issued to a new customer. However, thanks to the underlying design of the blockchain, Emeldi is aiming to significantly improve this process by introducing a completely remote contract creation structure.

Banking on experience

While Emeldi is pushing for innovative solutions, the company has a long-standing history of success and expertise in the telecom industry. With more than 20 years of on-hands experience in creating software solutions for global telecommunications companies, Emeldi is now venturing into exploring new technologies.

Both the blockchain space and Web3 have a lot to offer, especially when it comes to communications services. From digital identification systems to decentralized payments via cryptocurrency, blockchains have the potential to enhance currently existing structures and completely reshape them.

Recognizing this potential, Emeldi is pioneering the use of decentralized tech in telecom services and pushing to reach new heights. Thanks to years of experience in the industry, Emeldi can rely on its knowledge of the market to create practical solutions and products that can greatly improve the distribution of telecom services globally.

Decentralization vs. centralization: Where does the future lie? Experts answer
The dichotomy between centralization and decentralization in human history seems to be opposing forces gradually overcoming or being overcome by each other. And while one replaces the other, people are justifying both, finding philosophical or theoretical reasons for the existence of both of them. Centralization In the middle of the 17th century, British philosopher Thomas Hobbes published a book titled Leviathan (or, The Matter, Forme and Power of a Commonwealth Ecclesiasticall and Civil), where he formulates social contract theory. According to Hobbes, roughly simplified for this article, humans started from a summum malum — greatest evil — or a constant …

Genomics company explores NFTs in hopes of advancing precision medicine
It’s predicted that nonfungible tokens (NFTs) will have a vast impact on society. Given this, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that the trillion-dollar healthcare sector has begun to explore NFTs tokens to advance medicine. It’s also important to point out that blockchain technology can play an increasingly important role within the healthcare sector. This was recently highlighted in a report from the European Union Blockchain Observatory, which specifically documents how blockchain applications can solve challenges facing the healthcare industry. For example, the paper notes that patient engagement and transparency of how data is stored, along with the effective distribution …

Beyond the hype: NFTs can lead the way in transforming business experiences
Many businesses and big brands have already jumped on the nonfungible token (NFT) bandwagon, including Nike, the National Basketball Association, Pepsi and even Taco Bell. But are these just for the show, or are these NFTs creating value? Much like digital services have become essential for every business in and outside of the technology sector, I believe that tokens — and, specifically, NFTs — are likely to become equally crucial in the emerging Web3 economy for at least two reasons. First, my view is that NFTs tokenize ideas at the atomistic level, creating rivalry and exclusivity around goods or services. …
