Major cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase Pro has added support for Chainlink, according to a blog post on June 26. Coinbase has listed two trading pairs for the token of smart contract platform Chainlink (LINK) on its professional trading platform. LINK will be available to trade with the U.S. dollar (LINK/USD) and with ether (ETH) (LINK/ETH). The post says that the token will be available in all its covered jurisdictions except for the state of New York. United States crypto exchange and wallet service Coinbase has expanded USD Coin (USDC) trading to customers in 85 countries, the firm announced in a blog post on May 14. Along with the USDC announcement, Coinbase also announced a major global expansion, adding 50 more jurisdictions to its coverage, including such countries as Brazil, South Africa and Taiwan, among others. New York state regulators have approved Coinbase Custody Trust Company LLC to roll out their cryptocurrency custody services in the state, according to an official announcement published Oct. 23. The New York State Department of Financial Services (DFS) has authorized Coinbase’s wholly-owned subsidiary Coinbase Custody Trust Company LLC to provide a limited range of custody services for virtual currencies, including Bitcoin (BTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Ethereum (ETH), Ethereum Classic (ETC), Ripple (XRP) and Litecoin (LTC). Leading U.S.-based cryptocurrency exchange, Coinbase, has integrated support for decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols on its wallet app. Per a March 26 announcement, Coinbase Wallet will now allow users to earn interest on cryptocurrencies through the DeFi apps, Compound, and dYdX.
