It’s estimated that 90% of members of the European Payments Council believe that blockchain technology will fundamentally change the industry by 2025. The use of cryptocurrencies — stablecoins in particular — will be a viable alternative to traditional acquiring methods and cost-reducing solutions, as it may provide a significantly less costly option as well as instant settlement.
